"To make rock-solid disciples who forever transform their communities in the Name of Jesus Christ."
February is Alabaster Month
In February our missions focus is on the Alabaster Offering, which supports world evangelism. Alabaster boxes can be found in the church lobby. Your gift will help Nazarene missionaries share the love of Jesus to the ends of the earth.

Heart Walk for Roberta
April 21, 2018 at Onondaga Community College As most of you know, Roberta Watkins-Litchfield has been dealing with heart issues for some time. After a procedure she had done on January 17, 2018, it was determined by her doctors that she needs to remain a patient at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY until she can receive a heart transplant. With that being said, on April 21, 2018, the American Heart Association is having their annual Heart Walk in Syracuse at Onondaga Community College from 8am to 12pm. It is a 5K (3.1 miles). The Auburn Naz is putting a team together called "Roberta's Faith Walkers" who will walk in honor of Roberta. This is a fundraising effort for the American Heart Association and it would be awesome to raise $1,000 for them in Roberta's name. In our next Newsletter, we will have the name of the website you can go to for registration and donation purposes. If you don't plan on walking, but would like to be on site that day to support the walkers you must register for "insurance and safety purposes". So LET'S ALL WALK FOR ROBERTA on April 21st! 2018 Laymen's Retreat May 18-20, 2018
2018 Laymen's Retreat RELAX - REFRESH - RENEW
If that sounds good to you then plan to attend the 2018 Upstate District Laymen's Retreat! Join other Nazarenes from around our District from May 18-20 at the beautiful Camp of the Woods in Speculator, NY as we celebrate our 40th year! Our guest speaker will be our very own District Superintendent Rev. Kevin Dunlop accompanied by his lovely wife Jan. The retreat is like a family reunion and includes people from high school grads to senior citizens. After our Saturday morning session, we will hold our annual auction, which is always great fun. All proceeds go to reduce costs for next year's retreat, and we welcome any items you'd like to contribute. Be sure to visit the Camp of the Woods website to see the many amenities they offer (including an indoor pool)! There is plenty of free time for relaxing, refreshing and renewing, and you will return home revived! Along with our times with our spreaker, the weekend includes two overnights and five top-notch meals. First Time Retreaters who register by February 14 will get a 10% discount per person! What Nazarenes Believe
These are the beliefs Nazarenes hold to be true:
We believe in one God-the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures, given by plenary inspiration, contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.
We believe that man is born with a fallen nature, and is, therefore, inclined to evil, and that continually.
We believe that the finally impenitent are hopelessly and eternally lost.
We believe that the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whosoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is justified and regenerated and saved from the dominion of sin.
We believe that believers are to be sanctified wholly, subsequent to regeneration, through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.
We believe that our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
